I'm afraid that I do understand.

If you guys wait long enough, you'll watch all or nearly all of your friends drift away from manual transmission preference, if you yourselves won't as well. Personally and from a truly hardcore position on the topic I hope it doesn't happen to any of you. I just bought a used S-10 with a manual tranny...only one I could find in my price range. But that's the ONLY reason I settled for a manual in it. Since it it just a beater and not an everyday truck I hope I won't get too tired of it.

I have 3 vehicles with auto trans. A 2012 Camaro 2SS, 2013 Corvette, and 2013 Wrangler. I don't regret having an auto in any if them. My wife doesn't drive a manual very well so this is the better option for us.

No regrets. I look at it as having the best of both worlds. I think if you dig a little deeper, in general, more of the younger owners prefer manual and older owners prefer the auto.

Pre-ordered as Auto and staying with Auto.
It's faster and more consistent Drag times. Only way to go as far as I see it.
