Regardless in the end the person who bought the manual will regret the poor resale value in comparison to an automatic.

EVER REGRET GETTING AN AUTO

The thread is asking for our opinions if we ever regret having an automatic. So people who drive manuals can GTFO because it has nothing to do with you.

Nobody should ever have a problem with somebody's preference, even without explanation. I don't.

lol this thread is still alive somehow.

I also feel like this is an archaic way of driving an automobile.
But just in case you're really curious why these threads keep on going, it's because of judgmental side commentary such as what I boldfaced above. Same as if anybody told you that driving an automatic was a rather mindless activity most of the time.

I didn't always drive only manuals. But I never regretted getting the automatic tranny cars that I did own. Valid answer to the topic, so I think I'll stick around a little longer.

Stop putting words into my mouth. I don't have a problem with anybodies preference. Hence why I posted what I did after that: "haha that is the truth. I've learned long ago that everyone in this world is different. Enjoy what you have and thats all there is to it."

Also Mustangs suck. That is pure fact that you can take to the bank.

I have no problem with people driving autos at all...The fact of the matter is that when you tell people you drive an auto, whether there a car enthusiast or not they always tend to say something like " oh you got an auto" and tend defer about talking about your awesome car...It's sad but this is just how it is, it's like when you say that dude my buddy over there nailed over 100 girls(thinking thats awesome of course) but then you say that chick is hot but shes a whore cause shes been with 100 dudes....It's called sterotying and the world is full of it...
Now this isn't in all cases and people shouldn't care what others think .....and I'm not saying I agree with this..but
Manual owners equal awesome, Accepted
Auto owners equal girly, non accepted..
again I don't agree with this, just stating how the general population views it , from my stand point anyways...

Wasn't talking about you. I was talking about the people who drive manuals that only drive manuals and say people who drive autos aren't men. Or whatever else they say.
I value the opinions of people who drove autos that now drive manuals and vice versa.

I did turn to auto with my first 2012 camaro,I actually did like the car a lot but I was quickly turning back..
My opninon is that manual is just more fun but I am not a hater of auto by any means

The key thought being that you added those thoughts nearly 10 posts later in a suddenly fast-moving thread. I guess you became a victim of the site no longer updating thread content in the reply window.

I expected you to take some kind of shot at me. Was hoping for something on topic and a bit more creative, though.

TDevilsG - I think we're never going to be quite in step here, so I'm going to let things simmer a bit before adding anything more.

Yes! So I take my frustration out rowing gears!!!

mines not a DD. For putt putt grocery go getter/work, it's an auto. And that's a huge NO! I don't ever regret it because its faster than an auto!!!!!
