Alot worse! I was in 3rd battalion in Paris island and we were pretty much isolated. We had nothing around us except swamps and i still laugh at my drill instructor motto " we don't drill, we kill aye sir" .

Even though boot camp sucked I'm glad I did my time. Overall it changed me in a positive way and gave me a better outlook in life and taught me to set goals. I believe every individual in the US should experience the military at least once in their life but that's just my thinking.

So many of my friends took the military route. It was positive for every one of them.

Looking back, I wish I had served instead of wasting time in college partying my face off. Would have made me grow up a LOT faster.

Closest I came to serving our contry was in the volunteer fire service and fighting wildfires out of state with the NY Forest Rangers. I wish I had gone in the military knowing what I know now, salute to you all that did!

LOL, right... It kills me, but I cant do anything about it..and there giving me a great deal on my tunning. It is a little weird cause in emails they told me Mid April would be perfect. I get it it to them on the 9th or something like that, The day before I brought it they said I have to leave it so they can try to fit it in if someone cancels. But by the latest May 13th, and I dont wanna be TUSSANMI co pilot for that long..lol

On another note. I need to find a place to buy methanol... any places in Syracuse or central NY. Think Rochester has a place but never emailed me back.

On a good note we do have some good conversations and there's no argument on what radio stations to listen to. Electric Area and BPM FTW.

They aren't really nearby, but I called them and asked - they do sell Methanol, in 5 gallon containers.
