OK, I'll leave the whole "sound" thing alone.

Yup, I'm not too concerned about sound. I understand the regulations the manufacturers have to put up with for sound, and I understand the average customer wants a smooth, quiet ride. A new exhaust is one of the more simple modifications, so we can all just get the setup that matches our taste the best.

Mindz, I doubt Camaro being able to outbrake a G8 in heading into the turns. The G8 has a 60-0 distance of 105 ft or so. The Camaro can't do significantly better than that. I think its just because they weren't pushing the Camaro to its limits

Noodles: It is possible for that to be supercharged. I've read that the new eaton superchargers made for the LS engines are supposed to be nearly silent, most of their noise is ultrasonic, meaning that its beyond the range of human hearing. So you won't hear the typical supercharger whine. You still hear something, its just harder to recognize. And given the lower quality of the sound in the vid, it is possible that it got lost

That’s very possible, I listen to it several times with some very high end head phones, and if I had to guess there were two different types of engines, I could be wrong, but I try to be objective at every turn.

One car seemed to be sluggish compared to the other, and they sounded different to me, or that was just my imagination.

I’d like to think the slower (in my opinion) was the V6 and the quick was the base v8…Did anyone else notice this?

First off, it sounds like a 4 or a 6 cylinder, and no I am not just saying that to get people mad, It truly does.

Second, some videos make it look slower than Christmas and others make it look like its leaping off of the ground, it seems as if, by pavement and time of day, this was several different versions of a " Black Camaro"

Last, getting your can whipped like that by a Prissy Convertible Porsche, which was NOT a 4S, if you slow the video down to look, it was a 2S, is SAD SAD SAD. My old 1992 RS 25th Anniversary would take a Porssche to the edge and if I would have had more motor, it woulda have inked them a new badge.

This car has more tire noise than a Hyundai Accent and more body roll than a 89 Mustang GT.

Lord, I hope the production version is better than this!

P.S., I used to help build Panoz Esperante's and know a few things about tuning, handling, and track testing... This video is simply embaressing, as a former Camaro-lover... Long live my '07 Mustang GT (My first Ford, thanks to GM).

And did I hear someone say something about polishing .... "halos???!!!"

Off topic...I find it AMAZING what people pull out of fbodfather's posts. A figure of speech somehow has almost unlimited hidden meaning here.

Halo headlights would be sweet though...

And DG, yeah I know. I was joking around. The cars weren't being pushed to their limits in that corner, that's just obvious.
