Saw a brand new 2014 Impala - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

The new Chevy Impala was delivered to my neighborhood dealer today. Sadly it still had to go through PDI but I did get to look her over head to toe and so far I'm liking what I see.

It's supposed to be dropped into the lot tomorrow and I've already been given a test drive appointment. I'll let you guys know what I think after I drive her but so far it looks like a big win for Chevy to me.

The only thing I don't like so far (just based on seeing it, couldn't sit in it) is the steering wheel design and the fake wood.

other than those...

I've seen a couple on display at auto shows in the past few months. Outstanding looking car!! Hopefully it will drive as good as it looks.

I do like the new Impalas if I had a family I would prolly get this lots of space in it. Oh they look great in Blu Ray metallic.

saw one on the road the other day, for the first time in a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooong time and Impala caught my eye and made me say wow, thats a good looking car.

Wife and I test drove one, a 2LT with NAV, Leather, other goodies. V6 version. It was awesome, we were highly impressed. It is by far the best family car Chevy has made in quite a while. The red 1LTZ is on our short list. the only downside is the price for one, though I will say it is comparable to the prices of other full size models of other makes. She is in love with it.

Designwise, easily the best looking Chevy Sedan in many MANY years (that includes the SS).

$31,700. It was half leather, half cloth if memory serves. Didn't have heated seats though and she wants that.

Leather sides, front, and top, cloth center. Looked great though and felt great.
