Find a dealer close to you on the MSRP list and put your order in. Otherwise it's gonna be a crap shoot on finding one. They have made at least 1000 of them even though you don't see many here yet. They will make at least 5-10000 more this year I am sure so should be able to get one.

Good Luck and welcome to the forum.

There is more profit in the other models and with the dealers only able to get their hands on so many, they will be LTs and SSs. I ordered my LS and the dealer told me that he wasn't going to make much on it.

That probably would of set me off if they told me something like that. It migth be true but there are things you don't say to a cash paying customer in hard times. And considering it's cheaper to make there is some money being made off the car.

Hey, you have a hottie too...

She is sleeping. She is working a lot lately. Gets up at 430am and goes to work and gets home at 830pm. Very hard working woman. This week she will be working 7 days.

If you lived in Buffalo I could hook you up with an LS at-or-below sticker, and you could pick between two! I don't know about in the FL, though, man. Good luck!

The creepy factor on this thread is on the rise! Some people are like OMG A FEMALE! Flirt! Flirt! =D

But yeah - as others have said, slim chances of finding an LS on a lot at the moment as the majority of people are ordering SS and LT models (dealerships know this, too, so any allocations they're using are probably being spent on that). If you do manage to find an LS, make sure to not pay a dime over MSRP on it.

Hey,

I am in Lake Mary, just got my Yellow LS 3 days ago, pre-ordered for MSRP in October from Classic Chevy in Texas and had it drop shipped to Stingray Chevy in Plant City which is a 70 mile drive for us. Each dealer has allocations and are both doing MSRP. Eric Hall at Classic or Steve Hurley at Stingray are the guys to contact!! Best new car buying experience!!

Jen,

Try this web site to locate a Camaro. Under Model click on Filter and select 1LS. Under State click on Filter and select FL. You should end up with a list of LS models in Florida. Some may have not arrived at the dealer yet, some might be on the dealer's lot and some might be already sold.

Good luck in finding your new Camaro!

I am brand new here and to the realm of the Camaro world! I have been on the lookout for a new vehicle as I'm deathly sick of my Mazda 3 (it's been a great car, just ready for something new) and I've recently fell in love with the Camaro.

Now I'm a 27 year old female, unmarried, no kids, who can only afford so much. While I would love to have an SS it just doesn't fit the budget right now. I do not need all the bells and whistles and the LS fits in my price range. I'm not crazy about the wheels but they are minor to me and something that I can definitely change down the line when I have some money saved up. I do like the 1LT so if I found it at a really good price somewhere I might be able to bump up to that.

Now my question is, after reading in one thread that the figure of LS's was something around 217 out of the 22,000+ made - what are the odds of finding one on a lot somewhere? Or am I going to have to order it? I see the majority of you have ordered your cars and have gotten them or are still waiting to receive them - sounds like it can be a lengthy - but worth it process!

The dealer I bought my car had a red lt Tuesday when I went to get my stripes put on. So I think you have a chance of finding one. If you put a nice smile on and flirt with your dealer maybe he can get on his computer and find one at another dealer and get them to ship it to you? Also welcome to the site!

And yes I am cute! LOL

If I were to order one, how much wheeling and dealing can be done with the dealer? Is it limited since you are ordering it how you want it and not bargaining with one on the lot?
We will need pics of u for how much wheeling and dealing will be done.

LOL JK. Good luck and welcome!

Read up in the ordering forum about how to avoid hidden charges like sealants and undercoatings and how to get financing lined up first.

Go in empowered and with the upper hand. I never let a dealer even look at my credit I just say here is how much take it or I walk. Be robotic no emotion for the deal, but polite.

call stingray chevy, looks like they have 2 black 1LT's in stock MSRP 26K.....

There are 7 1LT's listed within 150 miles of sanford, the search doesn't even have the LS as an option on chevy.com
