Rate that Mod Day 7: Cold Air Inductions Intake

VOTING IS NOW CLOSED! NEXT MOD IS UP!

WOO!! Rate the Mod is back!!! Now lets see the scores so far!

Anvil Notched Spoiler 9.21
Muffler Delete (V8) 8.29
Terminator CF Hood 3.89
Razzi Body Kit 2.30
Kooks LT Headers 9.47
NS-1 Stripe Package 7.46

I must admit not to shabby of a score the good looking NS-1 stripe package! Now for today's mod, CAI Intake! As far as looks go this is one of the better looking intakes available for us and certainly has the good numbers to back it up! Here was the independent testings by Janetty Racing!

https://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?...=1&output=html

And here was test 2

https://spreadsheets.google.com/spre...ZNVI5aVE&hl=en

Im going to have to give this intake a 9.5/10. .5 off for having to relocate the washer fluid bottle lol

I also want to say that when applicable I will try to use pictures and videos to represent the mods in question just to give people an idea of what the mod is like if they do not already know. I pull these at random either from Google, YouTube or even this website. If you find that I have used something you submitted and want me to take it down please let me know and I will immediately!

I think its worth noteing that the washer bottle doesnt need to be relocated unless you get the scoop with the Cold air intake.

Moving the water bottle was my concern as well. What benefit does the scoop give you?

I pretty sure the scoop actually increases the HP gains over just the CAI.

The fit was close, but not perfect. Also loses some points for the rough cut edges. I sliced my finger pretty good when installing. Some time spent with fine sandpaper took care of that (the edges, not the finger. ).

All in all, minor gripes for what is a very well designed, great performing, and good looking true CAI.

I would give it a 10/10. When I had my V6 I bought this CAI and when I bought a V8 I used the same brand. I'm not familiar with the rest but have been very pleased with CAI.

On a sidenote, does anybody know the best way to clean these things?
