Smile OEM Catch Can

Just noticed that GM has a 'Catch Can' designed to fit both the V-8 & V-6 engines for the current generation of Camaros. The Part Number is 23102311. Looks like an easy deal to install as it comes with the line to plumb right into the oil-fill port of the rocker cover. I don't know the cost.
Found it in the Camaro Performance Upgrade section at www.chevroletperformance.com It is designed as an oil separation unit.

It comes standard on the 1LE. It's meant for the clean side filtering. Not sure if it could easily be adapted to work for the dirty side.

This. It is a good set up to run along with a catch can.

It's around $150. Not worth it, IMO.
Just get an aftermarket can that does the dirty side.

Clean side accounts for on general 2-3 % max of the oil ingestion...and the 1LE cleanside separator does a great job, but there is no dirtyside seperator on production cars & light trucks.

You need a good dirty side unit.

Nah... I'm running the same set up except my Elite can is on the passenger side.

Supposedly it's the best of both worlds.
