Bob if your really worried about heat get the rx spacers or mace ones no hood is going to help. The only thing that helps are spacers.

Chris what I need is a 160 thermostat for the LLT engine do they make this ? No luck at NAPA. I guess Jerry can order the 3/8" RX spacer. Thanks.

I agree get the spacer cools the intake manifold down and give you a little more hp and tq
