"You mean the halos on the 2LT?" Oh that's nothing to worry about because its only a V6."
Its pretty obvious where you stand and what brand you support. You definately don't stand up for the fellow Camaro5 members.

It only takes 1 second of reading your posts to see exactly what you're up to.
Wow talk about reading into things. It's pretty apparent that you, yourself are the one with a predetermined stance on the subject. The statements I made are purely subjective from a car enthusiast's point of view. You're coming from a "DEFEND MY CAMARO AT ALL COSTS" stance. Like I said, it's blatantly apparent. "What I'm up to..." Wow, too funny.

This whole thing of this car beats this car is pointless... anyone can lose on any given day....

Bottom line, ENJOY YOUR CAR! Be it a Stang, Camaro or Challenger... 6 or 8! It's all good!

The first manufacturer that gets a 340 hp V-6 in a sport coupe that gets mileage in the mid-30's will destroy all the competition. Virtually wipe them out of that segment. And it's a segment that is huge in America...with gas prices and all. And I don't see fuel costs going down much...in fact they will rise over time and likely settle in the $3.50 per gallon range in the near future.

You do realize there is a decent number of people on here that have or ordered a V8 Camaro, right? Why is it necessary to put down people that have V8's in order to justify your decision to buy a V6? I was in the Camaro guys corner until I read some of the V8 bashing. I ordered a V8 and I can not only afford to pay for it, I'll be able to put gas in it too. I bought a Trailblazer last year when gas was over $4 a gallon. I was always able to put gas in it when it was getting low. You guys should keep your arguments to your preferences for buying a V6 and not divide the Camaro owner camp too.

I wasn't aware anyone who owns a V-6 needed to "justify" their buying decision????

Not to me. But it appears there are many in this thread that feel compelled to do so.

Well said. As a good point of reference...I had a generation 3 Camaro Z-28 in the mid 1980's...a 305 V-8 that barely made 200hp. Now a V-6 makes 300+hp. What fantastic developments!

It kills me people bashing prople with V8 or V6 cause regardless of motor size we all are driving the same family of car. Its like saying your little brother isnt your real brother cause hes littler or younger. I test drove a V6 and I loved it and would've been more than happy with it! It had lots of power! I did get a V8 though and dont consider myself any better than some one who has the V6! Cause last I checked we all put our pants on 1 leg at a time. Seems like thats the only thing I see wrong with this awesome sight is the bashing between V6 and V8 owners. Personally I think we should all just be happy that Chevrolet come back with a bang with this sweet azz car regardless of motor size or color of car! Also to everyone Happy 4th of July and everyone please have a safe and fun holiday weekend and if you decide to drink please dont drive these sweet cars!!! Actually dont drink and drive any car cause we always lose to many people on Holiday weekends! Dont need to lose any lifes or freedoms from possible jail time!

Probably easier said than done, but try not to worry too much what other people think. If the car works for you and your budget then good for you. Maybe start telling the doubters that you have a big enough penis and didn't need anything to compensate for it!

LOL...this from a guy who has the 2SS on order...guess I need some serious compensation! In all seriousness, family first and with five mouths to feed no one should question your motivation to buy the V6.

When I mentioned that I was getting a Camaro I was asked, as the first question, if I was getting the SS. I would say that i was going with a V6 and they would respond with an unexcited "Oh". I would then mention that it has 304 hp and then they would respond with an excited "Oh really?". It's like people hear V6 and think "grocery get'er" or something.
