Cowl Air Extraction

I finally got to my project to open the cowl for air extraction. Could look nicer / cleaner and this may not be the final form, but I'm happy with it for my 'non-show' car. Hood is closed to within an inch or so in the 'inside' picture, just enough room to stick my finger in and push the camera button. I'll do more water testing and add a little lip if needed, but so far it doesn't look like any water will come in to the engine, and there's lots of room for air to get out. I used junkyard parts so all the original parts are still intact and can always go back on.

Good luck with the new mod,Looks like a great cheap way to extract the engine heat.

Nope,it's a new 1LE at new era. The motor and chassis are both stripped out of it now. It's getting a 416 with mast heads, whipple, fuel system and 9 inch rear end..and a lot more but I forgot. It's sick!!!

Well it's funny you mention it . They emailed me today and said pretty much everything is done, except waiting on a new AN hose for the Meth system and then tune .

I have added new control arms, and totally forgot to upgrade all the differential bushings, I had them order some today. so probably by next week I will have my car back... Whoot whoot.

Sucks cause I would of liked to drive to the car show this weekend and jump on the dyno... But then again, I wouldnt wanna break it before everybody else got there turn lol.....
