Any questions,
Just PM me. You can test any can for effectiveness....if you want, there are test results posted. The RX can is the most effective at trapping all, or nearly all the oil. Elite is excellent and the MN is also a good one. |

What is the point of installing this when the factory doesn't? If the engineers deemed it necessary at GM, I am sure they would integrate catch cans into all their performance cars as to keep them from warranty repairs from sludged up engines. Does ferrari or lamborghini use a catch can?

I have installed upgrades to both sides of the PCV system. Catch can on dirty side @ 37 miles and 1LE Air Oil Separator kit on the "clean" side @ 91 miles. In just 600 miles of "spirited" engine break in driving there is no doubt in my mind that the oil in my catch can wasn't something I wanted going into my intake.
It's my car and I expect great performance from it, but I install stuff to ensure that happens.
