Not from what I've heard..every time my buddy and his dad pass a Harley Rider, the Rider flips off my friend on his crotchrocket, then does the underhand wave to his dad on his Harley Not just an isolated incident either!

I like the back of the hand out, fingers spread five.

The vette guys have been using this one for decades. But I guess it would work.

Just remember, a peace sign with the palm facing out is fine. The peace sign with the back of the hand facing out is an obscene gesture in the UK. So, I guess you could always do the "obscene gesture" version to folks/cars you do not like.

Anyone who thinks bikers as a whole have a standard "wave" is sadly misinformed. Myself, my whole family, many of my friends, and the club I belong too have been riding for a long time. The wave a biker gives can be as individual as the biker is. All Harley riders don't flip off crotch rocket riders, that's just ignorant riders being assholes. The most common wave for cruiser-style bikes in the north is the palm forward wave, but around here I see mostly a 1 to 2 finger point to the side and below the handle bars. I personally tend to wave way out to the side and well above the handlebars, and my boy who rides with me likes to flash a 2 thumbs up when were not in corners (bit of a show off). For most bikers, the wave is just an acknowledgment of a fellow 2-wheeler, not a signal to show membership in some elite club/gang.

So drop the biker wave discussion, and though some corvette drivers have used the V, so does that goofy shell commercial. Just give a friendly acknowledgment of your fellow Camaro owner, and stop trying to make it something complicated. Remember, only the people on this forum would even know that there is supposed to be a "Camaro wave" and then only the people who bothered to read this thread. And out of that small group of owners, there is the segment who, like me, have no interest in a "Camaro Wave" and most likely will never participate, whatever this thread decides.

Here's one pure and simple. 5 rapid Highbeam flashes.. And then one less for each generation, 1-Gen1 to 5-Gen5.

Or we could go with two flashes like mentioned before. I dunno, but I think HB flashes would be the safest bet (unless you're in the inner-city.) It may seem dull to some, but I find the whole thing novel, also having ridden a motorcycle and knowing that MANY bikers do their own wave to show that motorcyclists are a community for whom each have much mutual respect for one another.

Talking Camaro Club <3

I think there should be a 'club' thing for new Camaros for whenever they drive past each other they wave. The jeepers do it, and the Camaro is 20x cooler than a Jeep lol
