Depending what your looking for....maybe GM ought to due what Ford does for tracking a vehicle...hire UPS! It seems Ford just extended a contract with UPS Logistics to handle distribution from the plant to the dealership.

I'm trying my best to be patient but something is just not right. I received my VIN back on 6/23 with a EXP I/T date of 7/7/9. It went into shipping status on 6/22. Now it appears my dealer can't find it (no rail car assignment yet). Here's the kicker. My dealer faxed me the invoice on 6/23. I have it in my hand, yet, it does not show up on the rail system or SpasticSquirrel either. EDIT: Furthermore, 2 VINs well after mine (22325 and 23024) going to my dealership have now shown up in SpasticSquirrel and were "found" on 6/25...AND if you sort the SpasticSquirrel site by VIN#, 20,801 gets skipped right over. 20,799, 20,800, 20,802, and 20,803 etc. are all in there going to different parts of the country so it's not like it got erroneously shipped somewhere else. Things are just not adding up.

Did you get a Workbench printout showing that VIN number against your order number?

Mine hasn't shown up on the Database yet, but I did get the VIN from my dealer this morning! The dealer says it could be here as soon as next Tuesday!

Both our cars had TPW of 29 June even though I ordered mine 6 weeks before. I called my dealer this morning and I was told that plant closed last week. How could that be if my frieend was told his car was built on 3 July and give a VIN, Can someone look mike up and see what the status is please? NHKWNZ

Yes. Order number and VIN and all other details were all correct, including where it was to be shipped. That is what is strange. I have triple checked all the numbers to make sure I have all the correct info.
