Don't take this the wrong way, but you can tell your younger just from what you said back to him. Your response was not something to be proud of in my opinion, it just sounds arrogant and immature.

I think it's funny as hell when people give me a hard time about it. I paid for my own SS with noone's help. People are angry and will give you a hard time because they are mad that you have what they couldn't afford. Not your problem. :P

Haters gonna hate. I'm young too I'm 25 but if u saw me u would think I'm like 16 cuz I look so young. I drive my LS but I haven't gotten that kind of rudeness but then again I just got out like 2 weeks ago. I like to drive it with my cutoff ratty shirt and bum looking shoes lol. No one has said anything to me yet. Habit from my punk days. I refuse to throw away my old clothes. My wife gets embarrassed

Haters gonna hate, even on here. Its easy to say take the higher road but unless you've been in a similar situation as the OP, its hard to say what you would do. I'm sure this wasn't the first time someone has said something to him. Maybe not about his car but the way he grew up in general.
