I don't even know what you are saying, but I had some butt muncher say that I was a 40 year old driving around in a 25 year old's car. I said "yeah right, show me a 25 yr old that drives a ZL1." It's not a 25 yr old's car, and I'm not 40 anyway.

But I get on the ZL1 forum and sure enough there are several young people that bought one, so whatever. I'm still not 40, yet, it's close

I'm sorry I hold myself higher than that. I've been pushed around for being young and successful. Personally I will stand up for myself if need be.
and being called a stupid spoiled brat when you don't even know my name is need be to me.
I don't dance around other peoples craps.
It wasn't like a snide general statement, I was called out.

Sorry but know me before you call me out.
either that or have some damn good evidence to do so.
I was kind of on your side, but dude, you need to grow up a little

While you do have the freedom of speech and can say what you want....sometimes it pays to bite your tongue or take the high road.

I might have had fun with it and all, but reducing yourself to their level in the way you did and getting so affected, sets you up for some real bad karma IMHO.

Lets say that these guys hold a grudge and stumble into your car in the future and take an opportunity to target your car...

I just hope that you are not one of those that come back here later with a post of "RANDOM VANDALISM" to your car.

I'm just saying it is not always random and these guys sound like the type to get cheap thrills and to cause grief.

I might sound paranoid, but for good reason.. I like many have met some messed up people.

In other words why put a bigger target on your back than we already have with such fine cars.

At least they didn't call it a Mustang. I still run into people that tell me they really like my Mustang (and they are serious).

What the guy above me said, seriously, have to look out for your ride. I try and be as friendly as possible when it comes to other people and my car, so we can all walk away cool with one another. Except for a little egging each other on between the Mustangs and Camaros in my local car group, but that's different, we all know each other and basically treat each other's car like our own.

OP, you can't win these, not there, or here. You did what you did, and not everyone on here will back you up.

I do think most of us, regardless of age, would have said something back.

Go and enjoy your day, and forget this thread, and the SubWay visit.

Best wishes,

Jim

Ah I love these Facebook daily life dramas that barely have anything to do with a camaro.

Social media has added so much value to our lives.

I remember the days when car forums were used for actual car discussion and not Dear Diary threads where everyone preaches about how they are Ghandi and we can argue about how to act like adults.
