turbonetics is pretty much your only choice for a single turbo kit. You could always have a shop fab you up a kit.

I purchased a Turbonetics single front mount 50 state legal kit as I'm in NJ. We always follow CA with the super strict emissions laws, so I wanted the C.A.R.B. backing to insure my upgrades could stay put. East Coast Supercharging did my install and I spoke with Doug yesterday.... He said, "I just pulled it off the dyno and it made 640 rwhp and 690rwtq, this runs really good"... We didn't use the canned tune. I added the ECS BAP, ECS Meth kit and 9lbs wastegate springs.. I also had Swain Tech Coating coat the hot side of the Turbonetics 76mm turbo and hot pipes that get installed in the engine compartment. I had already installed an SLP Loud Mouth I axel back (just a muff delete) which was the only upgrade on the car when ECS got it..

I contacted Reggie @ Turbonetics (PM him, they are a C5 member) and asked him what he could do for me.. The kit arrived with exellent packaging and timely delivery. Next, get it installed and most importantly, get the right tuner.... You will love the results...

Tom - appreciate the update, great move on the pipe coating.....just read about this kit, do you have any photos you can post? Also, what kind of boost are you running to achieve your peak HP/TQ#'s?

OK... this is what I have up to date.... first off I have to say the crew @ East Coast Superchargers does not just work with superchargers.. they install and tune FI period. If your within several hrs from Cream Ridge NJ you need to look into doug tuning your gear.... just sayin'... anyway you can clearly see the white lightning coating from swain tech.... cool stuff to keep the hot stuff inside.... the turbonetics kit comes with a huge intercooler and a very good size 76mm turbonetics turbo.. this turbo has ceramic ball bearings and is oil fed and water cooled.. the advantage of keeping the turbo as a front or top mount is the oil returns to the pan (yes you have to drill a hole in your oil pan) via gravity instead of a pump which is a good thing... That is an AIS meth tank in the trunk made specific for the 5th gen Camaro and saves valuable trunk space while keeping 4 gal of meth @ the ready....call Rodney @ AIS if you want one... It has a low fluid warning light as well as a notch behind it to mount the meth pump.... Looks tits too !!!

I posted some pics just now... It's 5:40 am... I will post more as soon as I can.... I had ESC swap out the 6.5lb springs included with the kit for turbonetics evolution wastgate 9lb springs which are the largest that I know of.. I'm pretty sure the dyno sheet will show a peak spike above 9lbs but I haven't seen it yet so your guess is as good as mine.. no boost controller here just running what the spings will provide.. will update once I get together with doug to review the dyno sheet... and yes I will post the dyno sheet.........

So I pick the car up with this Turbonetics 76mm front mount... WOW.. let me tell you this car is incredablely fast... drives like stock only hint is the intercooler peering through the lower grill (could go flat black to be way more stealth)..boost spools fast power is smooth with plenty available.. I'd say it is exactly, perfectly too much !

I think this set up is kinda unique with all the whipple and centri type blowers out there.. This is different, it is fast, makes crazy power 649rwhp/693rwtq @ 11.5psi of boost.. just a blast to drive.. I put 500 miles on it and all you want to do is find a reason to go back out and drive it more..

had a delay in picking up the car, seems the breather check valve was not working correctly... now basically the beather is open, no check valve, but ECS says is all good.. RX catch can working perfectly...
