However, I promise the horse is dead.

P.S. That was just an example. I love all Camaro's

They made the V6 Camaro for the same reason they had the old V6 Buick Grand National. Rumors are the next big change in the V6 is the 400hp+ Twin Turbo 3.6 which will also go in the Caddy as well as the up coming new Buick Grand National in another year or so.

I doubt a letter as mild as that will ever make it to anyone on salary. I'm sure much more scaving letters go to the round file. There has to be some realmeat in the issue for anything to get to the salaried people unless they see it on here. Even then their comment will be something to the effect of "can't please everybody, but we can please the masses".

A lot more research and customer feedback goes into corporate decisions now than 40-50 years ago.

Hell look at the original 5 and see how many people swap out the front bumper, hoods, rear facias, blackouts, GFX, led lights, etc, etc. So even the original, which I believe GM nailed, is not perfect for some.
Even with the 5th gen, they have made yearly minor changes.

2011 got the HUD and vert
2012 got the backup camera
2013 got my link

Nothing big, but there has been a new feature yearly (I believe there are a couple others there as well, but these were the first to pop in my head)

Yes - I know him.

That's the point.

I know he's a decent fellow....because I've met him.

His comment on this thread, however, (if I didn't already know him) would tell me something different.

The same with the car - WAIT UNTIL YOU MEET IT!

Interesting that people "hate" the taillights. I find them to be quite at home, actually.

If you go back 40 years, the ONLY OTHER time in Camaro history that 4 separated taillights existed was 70-73...and then came the 74 model with the panel style lamps again. Coupled with the 2010-13, that's only 8 out of the last 47 model years that Camaro had quad taillights. Of course, that's also including the 8 they didn't make a Camaro. Quad taillights are the exception on Camaro, not the norm.

I like it. And I'm very likely going to buy one.

I like the 14 front. My only issue is if you plan to do any performance upgrades better think about why they left the ZL1 front the same.

I agree. I love all the bashing that is coming your way from this comment. God forbid anybody say anything negative about a Camaro.

I can't wait to meet it. I admire the new front end and can appreciate the modern LED taillights.

However I'm not getting one, I'm on my 2nd Gen 5 Camaro already so I think I'll try to sit tight for 3-4 more years.
