Dont get me wrong, there are some cars that are just awesome.. barracudas, even furys, chargers, olds 442s, grand nationals, gtos, etc.

But something about the Camaro.. its just the right amount of car, size coupled with looks. All the models look badass.

IF you are arguing with a mustang owner just say, LX 4 cylinder, nuff said.

If you are arguing with a charger owner, just say, 4 doors, looks like a lowered mini van, nuff said.

If you are arguing with a challenger owner, tell him gas guzzler tax nuff said.

If you are arguing with a ricer, tell him his car sounds like a gillet fusion razer, nuff said.

If you are arguing with a GTr owner, tell him if you spent the same amount of money on your camaro as he did his gtr, your wife would kill you.

Bottom line, camaros are the best cars out there, if you dont believe that, shoot yourself.

This was my favorite part.

Some people are taking this post way too seriously.

Same here, loved it. He's just trying to entertain himself and others. If it wasn't for people like him this board would be like that other Camaro forum, the one that the topics stay on the front page for weeks.

I agree with the original post.

Not too expensive, not too cheap.
Not too low to the ground, or too high.

Not too rare or too common.
Not too fast or too slow.

It really does strike a nice balance.

I agree with PURV24. It's become politically correct to talk smack about your own, to humbly downplay one's own heritage, even one's country (look how many America haters are out there all day, ashamedly blaming our awful country for INVITING terror attacks (because we are SO awful by not tolerating "cultural diversity" of things like genocide, female oppression, slavery, etc.), but homey don't play that game.

I am proud of my country, proud of my DNA (even though I am SUPPOSED to be ashamed as hell of being a caucasian... only OTHER races may express pride in their lineage, as white people are supposed to be ashamed of being so... oh, but if I say that, I also need to include the disclaimer that this does not make me a white supremacist, either... I'm ONLY saying that I am not ashamed of my heritage), proud of my opinions, proud of my damn car.

I, too, happen to believe that the Camaro is the perfect car. Of course, one can always find a vehicle that will go faster, or be cheaper, or will off- road better, or carries more cargo, or will not burn gasoline, or will do X better. The quality is great (yes, the self- abuse addicts will argue with that, too, but I can find you just as many BMW, Saab, and Mercedes owners willing to wail and cry about the build- quality failures of their own cars).

The Camaro is the best bang for the buck, the nicest looking, practical, fun, package deal in town.

The best American car is going to be the C7 Z06/Z07 and the ZR1, so I disagree. However, the Camaro is hard to beat when price comes into play.

Owning a Camaro is something to be proud of for whatever reasoning you choose.

Indeed!

Goes to show, people read the title and couldn't wait to contradict... Can't believe ppl are really naming bugattis and gt500s, when the average person may never sit in one let alone drive one.

Sure there are faster cars, better handling...

But camaros are the perfect combo of speed power, looks, price, meanness, and most of all, owner pride. Go find another make with the following and enthusiasm that camaro owners have.
