I wish I could do that to hear the exhaust but unfortunately I would need a can opener. ![]() Actually $500 is a good price usually $549 I think is the going price. I installed myself. I love the sound of mine every time I fire it up and drive it and sounds slightly better with Solo HFC's but if you don't like the sound in the car now the HFC's won't help it any. Your best bet then is to go back to stock. The only time I get to hear mine from the outside is when I take the garbage to the curb I always fire mine up with the auto start so I can hear it and I get a grin on my face and can't believe that it is a V6. So just how loud is it inside? It's my dd and most of the time I'm romping on it but there are times that I like a quiet drive home. I'm prepared to buy the Magnaflow X pipe with it if that will keep things reasonable inside the car?

Here is a video from Morano Racing on the V2 from inside the car. It is a good video to depict the sound on the inside and he uses a Db meter also. The sound is pretty close to what it sounds like in person but in person sounds better. There is another video on the exhaust from the outside and the two videos is what made my decision to buy and and I am 100% satisfied and then some.

Not yet... Been thinking about them. Just need a way to justify the additional mod money with the wifey.

I love my V2s like i said before but i will admit they have a drone right around the MPH your talking about. It's enough for me to notice it but not enough for me to go crazy and to have to install J-pipes or a Res X-pipe right now. Maybe when i get headers that will change though

When I first installed mine I was wanting to reduce the drone because it bugged the heck out of me, in fact I even considered going back stock. Now that I have had it on a few months and have a couple thousand miles on them I hardly notice the drone any more. I am not sure if it has lessened or I am just used to it but the sound of the exhaust is overall so good I would never consider changing it now.
