Yes, I know CDs may be old school, but people still use them. This of course is not an option with MyLink.

once someone comes out with an aftermarket adapter for the 2013 people will be pulling out their mylinks to put in aftermarket HU's & adapter kits for better sound. making this a really cheap mod to do.... of course I guess if everyone with a 2010-2012 is fighting over them maybe it wont be so cheap,,,

Just to note, if this ended up being the case and it could be done for a reasonable price I would certainly consider this..

I've already seen a ZL1 mylink w/ nav and heated seats take off on ebay.

The current price is not bad so much so I'm tempted to partake but it would be a paperweight until 11's DIY is confirmed. I also don't have heated seats but I don't see that being too much of a problem.

how does one put an aftermarket HU in a MyLink equipped camaro? I'm sure somenone is working on an adapter kit but I didn't know one was available yet.

Does the same metra kit work?

maybe someone was throwing their money away & converting it to a race only car.

actually I just checked out crutchfield & metraonline.com, and it doesnt say the standard metra kit wont work on the 2013..

I'm surprised.

The car was most likely being converted to a track car and was dropping weight in my opinion. I'm still watching the auction because it's tempting.

It was taken out at 1400 miles which isn't a whole lot as were other parts of the car I am also watching.

Considering Ofer has said that the 2012 wiring harness is different than the 2013, I'm willing to bet that the Metra kit won't work.

That one is just the MYlink so if you want Navigation, you're out of luck.

I saw that listing and someone even asked a question if it had nav, and the sellers response was yes. But looking at the pictures, you can see there is no nav button.

There is no nav button.

However I've seen pics with nav button. ( Where play/pause is )

I haven't personally been to the lots to try it out though.

That was rather simple. Ofer's faceplate has the NAV button so I guess it's safe to assume that that eBay listing is just my link.

I watched the video, that's not factory nav, it's an aftermarket add on kit for the regular my link, so maybe the eBay listing has this installed.
