witnessed something funny

I live in the Waterford area here in MI, see a LOT of camaros now, but today was special..
I went to get a pizza and I come up to a light, guy has a sweet 2ss,rs black, and its a stick, he wants to go straight in a turning lane. So the people behind are pissed and honking, light turns from green arrow, to red, then we both get the green (I was in the left lane going straight)

He revs a little, tires squeak and STALL....... in the intersection no less....
I am guessing stiff clutch

Hope I don't have this issue with my ABM 2SS when I get her.

side note: I have a Civic Si, easy stick to drive.

Hmm, West michigan must have better 5th gen drivers. Was riding behind a guy in a late 4th gen and blew his clutch at an intersection trying the same thing. Haven't seen a 5th gen do anything stupid. Needless to say that made my afternoon.

But nonetheless I've already seen 6/7 in the wild over the course of 3 days..

LOL the clutch is pretty stiff... I have been guilty of the same thing

My dad was making fun of me in the passanger side the other day b/c I stalled out, then when I let him drive he stalled on the first red light

Unless I go with my plan to get a convertible as a weekend cruiser, looks like I'll be going automatic. My wrecked knees wouldn't be able to handle a stiff clutch during daily driver activities.

Waaah waah.. The clutch on my C5 Vette was 5 times as stiff... heck the clutch on my Volkswagen Fox was stiffer (it was also mechanical but whatever). The clutch on this car is far lighter than any other performance car that I have ever driven, and honestly doesnt bother my leg at all in traffic (where my prior cars have).

That said I'm so not used to a clutch like this Ive stalled it multiple times since I got it, LOL....
