Turbonetics check in

So I wanted to post an update to everyone and anyone thinking of going turbonetics

So I built my car for road racing and auto cross. It's still in 50 state legal form with full interior. Cts-v front brakes, Pedders zl1 pace car kit, turbonetics stock kit, that's the big stuff.

The car makes 515whp 530wtq at 6psi of boost. With the duel heavy waste gate springs the boost is deliver very smoothly and without violence. For example at the local track turn one is a extremely fast sweeping right taken in third gear leading to a straight away. I can nail it at the apex and not break loose pulling out of the turn under considerable g's.

I have put over 10000 miles on the the car sense the install(not my daily driver).

Done two cross country road trips, three road race events (I was even in a commercial). 5 auto cross events, and around 8 drag runs.

The only issue I have had was at my first road race one of the waste gate springs stuck closed and I over boosted to 12psi for maybe 3- 5seconds. Let me say one side note that much power for a brief moment was insane. Breaking loose in fourth going down a straight was great.

I have a data logged and after the event I pulled the info data and turbonetics canned tune held true. The car detected no knock or any other dangerous peramiters.

Turbonetics was on point and replaced both waste gates with no issues.

I am very happy and love beating the car up and down the track then driving home.

glad to hear you are having a good experiance with the kit.. I would agree that @ 11 or 12 psi of boost the tires get over powered...

enjoy you turbo camaro and lets see how many turbonetics kits check in...
