I don't understand. Why not post it?

I really don't understand why we have to tip-toe around each other's "feelings" around here. Why does every thread have to be worshipped and cheered for like it was the greatest thought ever. Certain threads (this one) are poorly thought out, serve no purpose for legitimate discussion, and just incite arguments.

If I make a stupid thread, I would expect to be called out on it. This a forum, an environment for opinions. All of the cheerleading around here creates so many empty posts. Makes it hard to actually learn things with all the clutter and nonsense.

We need some reality sometimes. I don't understand why we all have to sit around like carebears singing folk songs.

You are living in a PC world my man. You have freedom of speech unless someone doesn't agree with you. You'll then be forced to apologize for hurting someone's feelings.

I understand, there are times when you just want to tell somebody to **** off. Or take a long walk off a short bridge. Or to go play in traffic. But I don't see how these types of comments will "cut down on" the amount of clutter and nonsense that you are describing. Now I'm not going to stand here and police every single thread or post. But a general amount of respect towards other members of this forum is expected.

I can understand the whole "i want to drive the best Camaro on the road" aspect... But honestly I just wish I could eat some tacos right now.
It's human nature to look for differences, especially when there's a hint in the thread title that there might be some. Not one of homo sapiens' better traits, it just is what it is.

I'm a newbie here, but I find this forum very courteous and restrained. In addition, the help from all the people on here to questions and issues is absolutely great. The Roush Mustang forum was the same way, and I very much appreciate both. If you want to see a forum with a bunch of arguing and name calling, go to the Honda Goldwing forum. It's like a bunch of pissy little 8th grade girls who've just gotten their period. And those guys are almost all mature men (agewise at least)!
