There used to be much more of an argument in favor of this, when the 3800 Camaro made 200 hp, and the Mustang V6 made 193 hp. The argument back then was that the V6 editions allowed the V8 to exist as they massively outsold the V8's.

Now that both the Camaro and Mustang offer 300+ hp V6 editions, the argument is less valid.

never had someone bash my V6, but I do get a few who ask if it will spin the wheels

I usually tell them yea, but I have to rev it all the way up to 2500 rpm's to do it.
