It is evident you do not know Chrysler - just what you read and that is how most of you who keep saying that should stay.

The owner of my dealer owns the Chrysler store right next. I eat lunch with a few of the techs there at least twice a week and we talk about the crap we work on. I guess I'll go over there and punch them in the mouth for lying to me because you know everything first hand.

Awful lot of blind fanboism going on in here.

I guess GM didn't have a bit of 5.3 oil pump problem a few years ago...

All manufacturers make some mistakes/produce so things they shouldn't.

That said, my f150 has the 5.0 .

you really have no idea. Have you actually owned a Chrysler? The ones i have owned have been BETTER than the GMs I have owned and as good as the Fords. I could give you quite a few examples of the issues I have had with the "high quality" GM stuff, but I will refrain.

ROFL, think about this for a minute, people aren't bringing in the perfect running cars to be worked on lol. I always hate this poor excuse (but i am a tech or know a tech), OF COURSE you or them are getting the cars that have the problems!!!! I don't know of one dealership for any manufacturer that you DO NOT have to make an appointment in advance because they just don't have any cars that need to be worked on lol.

Well most of them come in on a wrecker, at least I have first hand knowledge of the product not someone who trolls the internet to get all his information and I'm not on any Ford or Chrysler forums bashing their products you're the one on a GM forum and always bashing them for something. All I can tell you is what is see and work on. Next time I need to know something about McDonald's I'll ask for your expertise. I do however currently own a 69 Boss 302 and a 72 Challenger, I've had better luck with GM products than any other cars other than my wife's 2010 Malibu that I thought was a total pos.

Hard to call it blind fanboyism when someone actually drives an ecoboost daily and aside from it's 'plushiness' and admittedly nice interior styling, the thing still can't shift right or mitigate the torque under a simple merge into city traffic. Tried to rectify this in sport mode by manually selecting gears and it's fixed the power loss issue but the transmission still shifts like crap.

I won't even get started about hammering it..

I think it's ford in general. This is the 3rd vehicle I've had transmission issues with (thank god for 24 month 'drop the keys and walk away' leases) and it's simply just pathetic. Can't change my folks mind though (it's their car..); you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink.

Sounds like you are the one with their panties in a bunch, I just made a point you can't refute. I am not always knocking GM, I state my opinion mainly based on my experiences, be it good or bad for whatever manufacturer. I will say I don't understand why so many people on this site who say they love their car so much, but think they have to justify their purchase by posting incorrect facts or blow things out of proportion towards other manufacturers to make them feel better about their own purchase. And just for the record, my car ownership has including 4 Fords, 1 jeep, 1 Dodge, 2 Eagles, 1 Mazda, and 7 GM vehicles (1 Buick, 1 Pontiac, 4 Chevrolet, and 1 Cadillac), I currently have 1 Chevy and 1 Dodge. So yes, i am a huge Mopar Fanboy though i have owned more GM vehicles than anything..............

My God people. We can do this back and forth shit all day and we are still going to come down to the same conclusion. All manufacturers have problems. Nothing is perfect....Except Scarlett Johannson. She is perfect.
