Trying to remove my highwing spoiler
Yeah this sucks, none of the bolts wanted to come out. With a little finesse I managed to win the battle on 3 of them and the last one refuses to give up. They overtorqued the bolts it seems like. After I get the last bolt drilled the spoiler is still taped to the trunk lid, taped on there pretty good as a matter of fact. You can also see the mystery hole that had a push pin in it. I can only assume that's where the brake light wiring goes through and they drilled it all the way instead of just the top layer.
![]() You can see the bolts, one of them still has it's decorative cover on it. Removing push pins. ![]() Pleasant surprise there is also a quick disconnect under the trim. (I thought I was gonna have to get in the trunk.)

You know what, I've got a little of that plastic from the factory stuck in between my spoiler and trunk lid, I think I'm going to let the dealer get it out
