Unsure if the search on cars.com will stay active with a link, but a search of 1999 Camaros sorted from highest price to lowest price, the first two hits are Hugger Orange.

But of course that's just asking price, not sale price. I can't find any good sources of completed transaction prices, eBay is only giving me about 1 page worth of 1999 Camaro completed auctions.

Unfortunately, 4th gen prices are going down the normal decline with 93-97 Z28s selling for only a few grand now adays, but clean examples of the 1993 Pace Cars and the Brickyard Camaros definitely appear to have a premium on price.

Considering that some of you aren't that familiar with the name of SUNSET orange metallic, aka SOM, RRM appears to be a "burnt" version of this with darker and more ruddy red hues. Probably if you mix CRT with SOM, you probably would get something like RRM.

Eh. I'm personally not a big fan of it, but am willing to see it in person or up close and make my final opinion of it. Its not really the front that I have a problem with, more so the back. But again, I'll reserve judgement until I see it in person. It's all interesting that the car seems to look better without the RS package in pictures.

I know, I kept thinking Sunburst and was corrected by someone else it's SUNSET. :oops: SOM cars always go for a little bit more money than similar year/mile Camaros. There's just not enough of the other cars selling on a regular basis for me to look them up on CList or eBay to back it up, though. I threw up a poll on my website and it was 10 to 8 for people who would pay a premium for a rare color (if they liked the color, of course) versus those who wouldn't.
