Problem while removing Interior Fuse Box Panel
Apologies if I posted in the wrong place, this is my first post. I was opening up the interior fuse box panel today as I am going to be installing a hardwired radar detector this week. As soon as I popped the panel open though a small, cubed, foam piece fell off and it happened so quickly I didn't even notice where it fell from exactly. Its not the big one that is attached to something pretty good, its a smaller one. One side of the cubed piece has a tiny bit of adhesive on it.
If someone could post a picture of their panel/fuse box interior I would be forever thankful. Oh and by the way this forum has been a gold mine of information for my car. I just stumbled onto it today and I'm pretty amazed. Thanks in advance. |

If I remember right, it goes on the inside of the cover, towards the outer part. Keeps the piece from caving in. You should be able to see an area on the cover that is cleaner than the rest.

Thanks, I tried looking for a spot that looked different than the rest but I couldn't differentiate at all. Even tried touching it to see if I felt the adhesive, but not luck. I'll take it out of the car later and put it under a light to see if it helps. When you say outer part, do you mean on the edge closest to the driver seat?
