F-body Summit 09

Good afternoon, Camaro Comrades and Firebird Friends! As many of you know, Chevrolet has sponsored an "End of the Year Get Together" for all Fbodys since the late 90s. It's been a great event where Firebird and Camaro Enthusiasts can get together for one last event before the weather turns colder. We've held this show at the National Corvette Museum for several years -- and then moved it to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway last September -- at the invitation of the Central Indiana Camaro Club -- where we unveiled the new 2010 Camaro to the enthusiast community. This year, The NorthEastern Ohio Camaro Club (NEOCC) has offered to sponsor this "Get Together" and would like to extend an invitation to all Camaro/Firebird enthusiasts to another special Camaro/Firebird event.... The F-Body Summit '09 will be held in conjunction with the 16th Annual Camaro Fall Classic at the world headquarters of Summit Racing Equipment in Tallmadge, Ohio. The dates are September 12-13. The Fall Classic has traditionally been, in the past, an all Camaro show, but this year's special event welcomes all F-Body Enthusiasts! So get those Firebirds out and bring 'em to Tallmadge! This 2-day event will include special guests from the Camaro Team, friends from around the country and a sampling of the finest F-Bodies to roll off the production lines. >>>>>We also plan to have a "Camaro Ride and Drive" for licensed drivers over the age of 21!<<<<< GO HERE: www.neocc.homestead.com TO REGISTER and get more information! I didn't know about that event, but it's close enough that I just may have to make plans to attend....also might be a good opportunity to meet other Camaro5 members. Thanks, Spike.

if mine is in by then i would definately go to this.. its about 2 hours away.. and a nice highway cruise up there.. been there many times for "oh shit i forgot to get this part" runs

intake,tsp cam,full exhaust,pcmforless tune,trailing arms,toe rods. hopeing for 11.9 because my g/f said she will take the cam and the suspension back if not. |

depending on what I decide on for the new transmission will decide if I drive or tow the 94Z up there.

Sweet, we were there last year at Indy and Summit is only about 45 minutes from my parents house. Guess we will be visiting them that weekend!

Hi all
 ! Just wanted to let you know some updates for this year's big show....**Hotel Discounts (room prices are per night and plus tax - these hotels are approx. 4-6 miles from show site)
** Saturday evening BBQ - award winning BBQ food! $12 per person. Must pre-register for this event! Also, we've started receiving your pre-reg forms  . The confirmations will be going out in August. Please post or drop me an email if you need something beforehand. Thanks and we can't wait to see everyone!!

What is there to do in this area of the show? (preferably car related)
The other weekend, I attended a Fairlane/Torino show in Dearborn and in addition to the primary car show we could do the following: - tour an engine rebuild shop - tour the Roush Performance Manufacturing Facility - tour the Ford Rouge truck assembly plant - tour the Henry Ford Fair Lane Estate Mansion - watch the many cars in the weekly Cruisin' Downriver on Fort St |
