Doesn't it have 500 GB? How much storage do you use?

Well, with my PS3 (has 1TB in it) I've used up 700~800 gigs. From game Downloads, Movies I've put on the system, Etc.

Well, if they're going to enable it to record your TV shows like a DVR, then I'd be comfortable with at least 1 TB. And TB drives are cheap nowadays... BUT, they very well could have larger HDs in different packages, as we haven't seen all the details yet.
Personally, I'm waiting till E3 to really form a firm judgement. Most of my gaming is done on the PC now, with the wife using the PS3 for netflix. If this thing can do netflix, TV guide, blu ray movies, AND gaming all in one... honestly that sounds pretty nice to me. Especially being able to search for shows and/or channels by talking to the xbox instead of surfing through with the old remote. Also there are rumors that this new generation of consoles may be able to support 64 + players in multiplayer games.... as that was the main reason I got BF3 on PC, that's something I'll be keeping an eye out for more news.

Instead it's been changed to "capable but it is up to the developer if they wish to use it."
I was at work and missed the reveal but I've heard that some of the developers have already opted to require an online connection to play their game. Your est is low. Insider reports have it listed as starting at $499. Looks like both the Xbox and PS will be launching with the same price tag. If I'm understanding the explanation correctly the Xbox has 3 operating systems?! And just to run they will use up half of the 8 gigs of DDR3 ram it has? I hope that isn't right cause if so compare that to the PS4s capability to allow a developer to have access to all 8 gigs of GDDR5 that it has. The Xbox already is using inferior ram but if they also restrict the amount that can be used to just 4 gigs, the capability difference between the two systems will be quite noticeable. |

What were you expecting, or why aren't you impressed? Seems like an impressive piece of hardware to me. If speculation is true about the price, $300-400 is an awesome value for what you're getting. That's under the assumption the Kinect comes with it of course.
