I like the 1455 showing at tinsel town too. I am bringing my kids though (8 year old girl and 12 year old boy). Do you guys think Tilt is ok for them? I wouldn't expect you guys to pick a different spot for me. If anything, I would just eat somewhere else and meet you guys in the TT parking lot afterwards.

We can eat anywhere man it was just my first time meeting up with the jax guys we went there so it holds some sintimental value but anwhere is good and 1455 movie time sounds good.

Personally I'm a fan of visiting Tilted Kilt since the last time I was there was when I was stationed in the Chicago area.

Our itinerary would be as follows:

0800-1000 Budweiser Plant Registration (Details below)
1000-1500 Budweiser Car Show
1200-1400 Tilted Kilt for chow - 9720 Deer Lake Ct, Jacksonville, FL
1400-1415 Drive to Movie Theater
1415 Arrive at Theater - Tinsel Town - 4535 Southside Blvd, Jacksonville, FL
1415-1455 Purchase Tickets/Movie Snacks
1455-1705 Enjoy the show
1705 Departing Cruise (no specific location as of yet)

If we get a rough count on lunch, I'll call ahead tonight to have tables reserved. Likely 2100 will be the cutoff before I call in. Thanks!

Tilted Kilt is right in front of the movie theater, so if you guys want to cruise beforehand you might want to choose a different spot. I'd join you guys but made plans with my girl for the day. Have fun and drive safe!

I was told it was at 8am a friend registered me and it cost 25 to register.

Then lets meet at the Tillted Kilt on Southside by Tinsel town at 1330 do lunch then the movie at 1455 then we can cruise for some dessert afterwards.
that way if someone does not want to eat they can just meet us at the movies at 2:45 then cruise with us afterwards for some dessert.
Sounds like a plan?

Moving lunch to a later is a good idea, although from talking with a number of people going to see the movie today and tomorrow I think the 1415 arrival is a good time. The last thing we'd want to do is have the tickets sell out and only half of us have purchased them. Also, I'm not really a fan of sitting on the first row looking straight up. I'll list the time at 1200, wasn't aware the restaurant and theater were that close.

Reservation set for 10-12 people @ 1200 for Tilted Kilt. We'll be in the Captains Chair area near the bar (not the bar). If children are attending we can always change to more traditional seating to keep them away from being too close to the alcohol. See you guys tomorrow!
