Auto transmission has better MPG than manual.

my salesman was pretty honest, he admitted he wasnt very knowledgable about camaros cuz i bought it at a nissan dealer
the car was very fairly sticker priced at the edmunds tmv, about 2or3k under kbb. spent about 15 minutes talking and dropped the price a few hundred and it was mine

was a very nice experience where i didnt have to negotiate for 2 hours like most dealers

It's a shame there are some uninformed and unprofessional sales people. I had visited at least 5 Chevy dealerships while looking for my Camaro. Some salesmen were good, some were just jerks. One thing was common for all, I couldn't drive onto a lot and get out of my car for more and a minute before a salesman was out "trying to sell me".
After dinner one nigh my wife and I pulled into dealer because they had several Camaro's up front. I was showing my wife the difference in the front end of SS and non SS, we didn't get out of the car (we were sitting in her jeep) I started pulling away and I heard a bang and someone yell. The salesman hit the back of my wife's jeep as I was pulling away, he was trying to get my attention to see if I had any questions.
Well he got my attention and an ear full. I went and told the manager there is no way I would do business with them and that smacking someones car was disrespectful and unprofessional. Once I purchased my Camaro from another dealership I drove back to this one to show them my purchase.

Went to test drive an SS here and the salesman told me that I would have to do a credit app and a promissary note to buy the car all before I test drove it. I told him to look in the trunk for the Go "F" Yourself Monster and left.

After three diffent trips to th local dealership to test drive. We tried to get a price on what we wanted. Only to hear we would pay sticker price, not willing to put any thing on paper.
Ended up buying a Camaro 1200 miles away. On the way back from picking up the car. I stopped at a red light in town, and the salesman who wouldn't give me a price was next to me at the light!
He recognized me and even commmented on it being a sharp looking car!
Told him I just bought it from someone who would give me a price!

I was shopping for a Corvette once. I was looking at a red one out front, a salesman came out and said, I see you like the red Vette? I said no, I am looking for a Jet-stream Blue with Z51 Package. He asked what. the Z51 was, so I told him. He said lets go in and locate you a blue Corvette with the Z71 package. I said no thanks, Z71 is a truck option, I'm not looking for an off road Corvette. Goodbye you tool!

Calm down there keyboard tuff guy, yea it did have enough power at the time, and good for you that the V6 has plenty of power for you. I respect the V6 and still have it at the moment, and it comes down to personal preference. Kind of like a sport bike, most people start off with the 600cc and eventually want the 1000cc. Quit being so sensitive, you act like what I said had anything to do directly with you, and yea you're right it is my problem that I'm looking for a SS, not a bad problem to have for me, it's my fiancée car, I just enjoy it,lol! . And also, I wouldn't be calling anyone dumb when you spell enough like this "enuf".

Went online and found a dealer who promised a NO GAMES and NO GIMMICK approach to car sales. Had a big red banner on the top of the website proclaiming it. THIS IS OUR PRICE. They also knocked another dealer down the street having clowns in their showroom.

I inquired online on a 2LS that had a price on it about 1000 under invoice. A good price.

I got a return email from a salesman, who stated that I would need to come in, and see what programs and discounts I qualified for. Yeah, they used a loaded price as a gimmick to try to reel me in.
My return email was quite civil, but reminded the salesman about that red banner that was placed on their precious website.
Within the day, that NO GAMES and GIMMICK banner was GONE.
And so was the line about the other dealers Clown show. Guess they joined Ringling Brothers too.

So.... if you want to catch a juggling act, balloon animals, or good old fashion seltzer water down the pants, there's a Chevy dealer near Cleveland waiting to sell you a matinee ticket.

When trying to order my Camaro, I went to Bankston Chevrolet in Fort Worth, TX as it was my closest dealership. I knew what I wanted, narrowed down to two color options. I went in and said I was ready to order my car. I asked to place an order for a 2SS in sliver, with IOM interior and IOM stripes. The sales guy went away and came back about 10 mins later and said that I would have to put down a $3000 deposit for a car like that, as if I backed out, it would be hard for them to sell a silver with IOM interior Camaro.

I then suggested my other color option, and said I would order that. A 2SS IOM Camaro with black interior and CGM stripes. Salesman went away and came back 10 mins later and said the same, that I needed to put down $3000 as Orange would be a hard sell if I didn't go through with the sale. Bear in mind, I was ordering a 2011 Camaro, in April 2010. So it's not like the Camaro hadn't been out for a year and they didn't know how they were doing!

So I mention to the sales guy that GM's policy for ordering a Camaro (at the time) was to put a deposit of $500 down. He went back to his manager.

Meanwhile, I called Eric Hall at Classic Chevrolet. I simply asked if he would take my order, exactly how I wanted it, with $500 down. He said yes, no problem, and you don't have to put a deposit down either. I said I'd be there in 20 mins!

Left Bankston, drove to Classic Chevrolet, spoke with Eric, and he brought round 2010 examples of the color combinations I was interested in, and then finally took me to a Corvette ZL1 so I could check out what the HUD would look like when I ordered my 2011.

Best buying experience I've ever had!

When I went in back in December to order my Hot Wheel, the guy looked at me like I was crazy. A younger sales guy said "oh yeah, let's do that!" I walked away from the older guy and ordered my car.

When I went to pick it up, the sales manager said he felt stupid for not ordering more of them, as several people asked to see the car in the 18 hours between when they got it and when I got there.

Amazing I went to Bankston to since its close. I went for a Hotwheels edition they told me they had one but didn't then they tried to screw me on my trade in and where about 3k more than what the msrp was so I left and sent to Bruce Lowrie and got me a 1LE for a good price and got a fair deal on my trade in.

Never had any bad dealings with salesman lying to me amazingly just one who was trying to butt rape me on the price.

Sent from the fast lane!
