Angry Double Din Dash Impossible to find!

I want a Double Din Dash Kit for my Camaro! I was already to buy a Scosche one but I cant seem to find a site that has them in stock! Very Frustrated. I would get the Metra one but I really like the Scosche one better. Does anyone know where I could get a Scosche dash kit? Or is there other manufacturers of a Double Din Dash Kit for 5th Gen Camaros??

With the Alpine Dash Kit do you NEED an Alpine Headunit or could I use something else like a Kenwood?

I think you can but will take a bit more time with the wiring. I read that somewhere here before

Metra is the only game in town right now. I'm holding out for the kenwood kit.

That would be awesome if you could find me a Schoshe for a not ridiculously price. I saw one (literally...just ONE) on eBay for over $400 and it was used but I'm not paying that. Let me know and Thanks a ton!

I thought the Kenwood for the Camaro was basically not gonna happen.

I didn't know that Alpine quit making them, likely because of all of the problems trying to make it work. I don't recall any other product that was released for sale that had near the amount of problems the Scosche/alpine kits have had.

I was waiting for the Kenwood dash kit also so I contacted them. This is the response:

Dear Russ

Thank you for contacting Kenwood USA Corporation. We value you as a Kenwood customer and appreciate the opportunity to be of assistance.

I understand you are inquiring about the iDatalink for Chevrolet vehicles. For this year, our units support only the iDatalink for Ford SYNC. Unfortunately we do not have one for Chevrolet and we do not have the information if and when it will be available.

Please feel free to contact us again with any additional questions.
