Trouble starting.

Having trouble getting my car to start.

I turn the key it just starts to crank, and won't turn over until I start to pump the gas pedal? Any ideas ? I'm thinking possible Spark Plugs / wires , maybe bad gas or fuel pump going.

Thanks for any help.

Lots of fun electronic shit it could be. From the crank position sensor to MAF.

Any CELs?

Saw in another thread a guy had the same symptom...took it to the dealer three times and no fix.
He then took it to an independent shop and they replaced the starter. He's been good since then.

You shouldn't have to pump the gas pedal at all to start it. Those days are long gone.

This doesn't sound like a MAF sensor problem, but you can unplug the MAF and the car will run without it.

Start simple, check your battery. Take it and have it load tested.
