Carbon, a by product of exhaust. Perfectly normal. You exhaust tips will turn black also, this is the same thing except mixed with condensation.

Ok thanks for all the imput. I'm thinking I've got a heavy foot too according to the 12.1 MPG all around driving in 3000 miles shown on my display.. I will try to get it down below 10 ....MPG that is. But now I've gots to go up river and fish....

No I've got a river raft that I put on top of my car.......I had a buddy in California back in the seventies that actually did put a raft on top of his 1967 Camaro SS when we went rafting. And another in a 1967 Pontiac GTO. All kidding aside that was just for show to add a little humor to this thread.......

Yep, Perfectly normal. The weep holes are there to drain the moisture out to prevent your mufflers rusting out prematurely.
