Well looked at the map.It suggests take 91 briefly then get off and take the 65 up to the track. That any better? Heat, dust, small auto x area maybe, hotel 20 miles from the track, anything else? And if I hear about swarms of locusts arriving I think we should call it a day...lol

...Coming from So Cal hopefully won't be bad on the south side of Bakersfield...We could always stay off the 99, go the 5 and cut-over...no biggie...

Yeah I drove it on both sides. Just wanted to warn everyone. I wasn't driving my Camaro but was thinking how dreadful it would be if I was driving it.
