Its not set in stone lol... I am thinking of it because of the reasons I mentioned in my previous posts, that if I decide on modding my V6 to achieve V8 power then it would cost me more then a V8 itself and to top it off I void the warranty. And if the difference on my return is not huge then why not? (Which I am already starting to realize won't be the case haha) :P

Yea saw his build thread. Running the LFX motor with twin turbo setup and pulling 500+ HP. INSANITY!!! But like you mentioned, doing that means warranty is out the door, and I am sure if you are dishing out that kinda dough you might probably just buy a ZL1. :P

Yea but FI should be able to give them enough reason to deny it. :P

How many miles did u have on your V6 when you traded it in and how long did you keep it and what model years was the V6 and the V8 that you got?

Actually, if it's that new and you think the dealer remembers you, maybe you could work something out with them that would be a better deal than just a regular trade in...If they can still make some money off the deal, wouldn't hurt to take it back in and just tell them you changed your mind and want something else...see what they say...

I could try that and besides the dealer that I got my 2LT from, I have actually kept in contact with him since I still don't have my plates for the vehicle (he had put in an application for custom plate for me, which should be arriving either by this weekend or next hopefully.) and right now I have it on temp plate. And he does not have the 2SS/1LE I am looking at on his lot, so not really sure how that would work out.

I will contact him tomorrow as well, give him the details and see if we can work something out without hurting my pocket too much. :P

Recommend cars.com. Sell our car there and explain reason why. You'll take less of a hit than turning it back to the dealer. We have both and the V6 is a sweet ride. You could throw some flowmaster axel back exhaust on your car. It makes a big difference. I do like the idea of going with a used SS as mentioned above. You could net out for +$5K and have a great SS with a year or two of bumper to bumper remaining. Just some thoughts.

I really don't plan on selling it, if the difference it too high and I am taking a big hit then I will just stick with my V6 and think of swapping it out with either the 6th Gen or C7 or hold on to this along with the new one. So, if I end up keeping my V6 then I was thinking I will just go with the MRT V2.0 w/ Magnaflow Resonated X-Pipe and enjoy it!

Good for you. Magnaflow is a good choice. Again I really like our V6. You will not be disappointed.

If you've already got buyer's remorse this early, it sounds like the V6 just isn't for you. I made the same mistake. You're going to take a hit if you try to trade it in. If you can afford it, I would just do it. Live and learn. In my experience, once you have the V8 itch, you're never going to get rid of it. I definitely would not do any mods on the V6 if you think you might not keep it. No point in sinking more money into a car that you're not happy (or might never be happy) with. Good luck!

I'm normally in the "Go V8 or go home crowd." but damn....2 weeks?

Why not just sell your V6 privately and then get a used V8?

My man just look into things. I was in the exact spot you were lol. I bought a 2012 LS new for 23,000. Luckily, I traded it in for 22,00 and bought my SS for 29 just 2 months after buying the LS LOL

If money is not an issue go for it. Keep it stock until you are ready to pull the trigger for a new SS or maybe a ZL1.

Stay away from V6 camry lol somebody posted something about them
