2013 M6 with approx 3,500 miles. According to the Drivers Information Center (DIC) the overall average MPG currently reads a Big Whooping: FIFTEEN.

The DIC has never been reset so its calibrating MPGs since its conception! Got her with I think it was NINE miles on her when we took delivery.

I'll reset the DIC AVG MPGs when the Roto Fab CAI is/gets installed and see over the next 3,500 miles (7,000 total miles) what the average reads/changes. From what I've been reading on this forum seems like everyone gets a little better MPGs! Then again if she sounds better and has even a little more kick, my driving will/may get even heavier footed negating any MPG increase.

Same here,
22 mpg hwy+ after upgrades in an A6.
Maybe 6-8 mpg driving it like it was built for.

The pictures are SS's, but those are the official numbers for the ZL1.

That website almost always just uses 1 picture for all versions of a particular car, sometimes (but not always) extending over multiple model years.

Just got my '13 A6 last week and took her on a little road trip over the weekend. Around town, she was getting a dismal 12 mpg. On the highway, driving at a sensible speed, I was seeing 22.3 before settling on 21.6 after running into a little stop and go traffic. I must say, though, this is the best riding car I've owned. Amazingly composed on the highway and it just absorbs bumps in the road almost like they aren't even there.

Been told to keep the foot down to prevent carbon build up in the exhaust. Was at about 13 but I have now improved to 12.1 MPG. I will try to get it below 10. 3000 miles so far for my 2012 black #842. My Prius won't coperate though, still getting 48.

That's the Idea! Get it down to 8 or so and the exhaust will stay clean as a whistle!

Well, after looking more closely at your picture, I see that's your fishing rig. You know salmon are kinda limited but those damn sturgeon are pretty agile and are going to require a trolling speed greater than I think your car's capable of. You may have to consider upgrading a few components...........OR you may be able to fool them with something like this,

This shouldn't be a topic discussed. This kinda fun and power comes with a price! Who cares it's a ZL1!!!!! Fuel is 1.49 per litre for ultra 94 here right now. To fill up isn't to fun but as soon as I leave the fuel station and hit the road it becomes sooooooo worth it! Yahoo! With that said some of you are getting fantastic fuel consumption numbers! Congrats! I don't know.... haven't checked and don't care! Bahahahaha!!
