Not familure with that. On mine I sprayed sound dreading foam into the knob. It made it sit up a couple inches higher, but at least it wasn't metal on metal anymore. Made a big difference.

The noise sounds like it's coming from the engine though. It honestly sounds like a miniature blower

Hey guys, I'm looking into picking up a v6 car to play with... I'm eyeballing an 2010 ABM w/ white stripes 1LS with 31k on it... The other option I'm toying with is waiting for the 2014's to come out and picking up a '14 v6 car... I'm on the fence about whether I want an LLT or LFX car. Looking at the fast v6 drag times, the LLT cars have all the spots in the top 10 in the bolt ons section... Anyone familiar with the pros and cons of the LLT and LFX?

I put my stock airbox back in for a few minutes today to eliminate that. I should have tried it with a K & N filter. I bet those are good for eliminating squeaks.

No that's just how the tranny feels lol. I've never had a drivetrain that makes as much noise, and is as clunky as this thing. On a side note, I just went out to the car and did a fuse pull. For shits and giggles I turned it on to see that the tranny dropped about 10 degrees in four hours. I'm pissed at this thing and I'll probably just take it to the stealership.

My tranny is the slowest piece to cool down. Long after the exhaust can be handled without gloves i'm still burning myself on the tranny.

My shifter knob trick did help with all drive train noise. My shifter seemed to amplify all those drive train noises. I have had 3 camaros all of them have been noisy.
