Exclamation Rear plastic bumper (is something missing, wrong?)?)

Anybody have any idea on this one? The four empty clips just doesn't look right. And also very loose without some sort of stiffeners or mounting bracket going to the plastic. Man WTF ??? is it assembled wrong or is it supposed to be that way?????

That's correct. I thought the same on my car until I looked closer and noticed the diffuser is attached. Those open holes are not to attach the diffuser.

You need to push the retaining clips back in. Shouldn't take more than a few minutes

What are they for then? The screws are riding hard against the diffuser. Maybe a GM guy can answer this ??

Unless of course they are broken then you get to go to the dealer! You might want to make sure it did not get snagged during loading of the car, low probablility but just in case.

Can someone in this forum take pictures of theirs and post it? I will take car to dealer for sure but I like to see what it's supposed to look like. That would help when I take it to the dealership....

Mine looks the same as yours. Yes, it is a little flimsy.

Mine is the same. Its like the parts don't match or line up. Why have that set of holes if the keepers don't line up with them? Its like part SS part ZL1 under there.

Totally possible. I don't have a ZL1 to fiddle with. Just from the picture it looks like a tab popped out

It was probably just a minor factory misalignment.

Yeah, if you were to force those screws to the holes etc, it would bind the crap out of it under there, and I don't think its even possible. On top of those screws are the fasteners too. It seems like they mixed and matched parts that didn't really have to line up. I don't think its a factory alignment issue, I think they knew about it and that's the way its is meant to be. Curious to what others have under their cars now.
