I've not heard of that. Have you checked the file specs to ensure the files are supported (by the HU)? And are they really not there, or maybe just not where you expect them to be?

they are on the pod and play fine .....just not on mylink.......I'm a techie and have checked out all the obvious - file type, burn rate, etc...

damnedest thing I've ever seen - one ipod is a 80 gb classic and the other is a 160 classic...the 160 plays them all on mylink and the 80 does not...both sync'd off same desktop and itunes library...

Playable on the iPod, but not on MyLink isn't necessarily proof something is wrong. It's possible the iPod supports file types MyLink does not.

In any case, as the "missing" songs are playable on one iPod and not the other, I'd suspect some odd issue/glitch with that iPod. I'm not saying the iPod is faulty. Just saying that not all players/models work, or work will with MyLink. I saw a chart/list posted somewhere which showed which players models were supported or worked but had issues (I just can't find it at the moment). The only thing I really recall from the chart is that not all iPods are supported.

I kind of have the same problem. Under a new album I uploaded to ipod, I can only find half the songs no matter how I search for it.

I have tried by artist, album even by one of the missing songs and nothing.

When looking on the ipod itself any of the above methods will show all the songs.

Then I went into the playlists and went to recently added and every song (including the missing songs) were there.

Still trying to figure it out.
