CAI vs Fastlane vs ADM Cold Air Intakes
Currently what is the best one as far as acceleration, sound, no lag, no maintenance?
From tests it seems like Fastlane was on top but people say it looks like its made out of crap. For $500 dollars I don't want a 'home depot thrown together pipe' Another concern about the Fastlane CAI that I had was how well can you drive in the rain and through puddles with it since it is located not far from the ground? |

Yep, lean the radiator in and install. They're great intakes but I'm not a fan of the "radiator lean" look.

Not a big fan of leaning the radiator either, but it does work well. . Don't get one with a metal tube because of heat soak. I personally like roto fab but most of them perform about the same. It's a 12hp part, it's not going to make or break your car. Enjoy

ADM all the way if your on the fence! Vararam does make good power but I don't care for the look at all. ADM intake IMO has the best balance of looks, quality of materials and design, and performance! And add the scoop and she's a bad b!tch! Plus Andy at ADM is excellent in customer service!

If your car is a 12 or newer, that would eliminate the VR.
The rest are EASILY found with a simple search. Just type the name of the intake you're wanting information about in the "search this form" box, found in each section.

I have the Vararam and I'm very happy with it. I think it looks good and performs just fine. The installation is a little off but I never had an issue with it in 9 months that I've had it. I'm taking it off soon to replace with a CAI and that's just because I'm installing a Magnacharger and Vararam won't work. The tilting back of radiator is really easy and isn't noticible once installed. Not saying its better them others just that I like it and like the idea it gets air from outside engine.

It's a unique style. Yea you have to lean the radiator back to install it. But you probably won't notice it once the intake is installed. I was a little skeptical of it at first but it is a simple install. And leaning the radiator has no affect on cooling.

The CAI is nice too. High quality materials and great, flushed fit. I dropped about 4 something for the intake, which came with the ADM scoop and washer bottle. Installation wasn't bad and it looks great under the hood. I've heard good things about all of these intakes. either would seem to be a good bet.
