Um, no. The way it works:

1. Information leaks out
2. Official announcement
3. Orders taken
4. Build
5. Delivery

At least that's how it *usually* works.

I ordered my 2SS this week and my dealer told me I can still add options. My sister told me about a Transformer special edition Chevy is making from Jun-Dec and I found a couple of blips on the net saying the same thing. Does anyone know if this is real or a rumor?

Its real but not sure if can be ordered yet or not. Its only a rally yellow car with stripes just like the regular gm stripes and wheel emblems and quarter panel emblems and inside emblems. Its not really as cool as it could of been. I mean the didn't even do custom striping. Its basically a rally yellow w/ blk stripes car and a few emblems thrown on.

It's real. There is a thread here where it's referred to as the "Bumblebee Edition" but when it is officially announced, which it hasn't been, it will probably be called "Transformers Edition".

there is suppose to be a bumble edition. But the exacts are not sure yet. For now it looks like different stripes and some transformers badges for now. Car will be rally yellow not bumble bee yellow

Thanks all! I ordered the yellow/black. Thought it would be cool to add the Bumblebee if I can. I'll push my dealer.

gotcha thats what i wanted to know. ive been reading alot of these forums and i see now that its basically only on "phase 1" now right? there isnt an official announcement yet ..?

It was in the works but at last news it could only happen if they did not go into bankruptcy and if they got the ok from Hasbro who currently holds the license. Well they went into bankruptcy and last I heard they still don't have the ok from Hasbro so it seems like this won't happen for awhile.

This is my first post. I am looking to get a new Camaro soon, but I have been waiting for the Transformers ed. to be formally announced. I am starting to wonder, however, if it is going to happen at all.

How reliable was the source this rumor came from, and how likely do the members on here REALLY think it is?
