Just got a quote from tsp and a long block with new heads cam valve springs etc. I'm looking at under 87xx is that a deal oh Nah?

12 psi on a Whipple s/c compression will be at 10.3:1 if I get the 10cc dish pistons or 11.1:1c.r with standard 418ci pistons.

Beast! but if you are building it why not get upgraded pistons as well? Rods and crank will be upgraded right? So why not do the pistons as well, also DO NOT skimp on the head bolts..GM's are fine but I would prefer ones that can be reused and are stronger like the ARP's, should be an option

Also does anyone know if the pfadt tri y headers are coming in 2"? I might sell my arh and get those to maximize my build and of price is right brim I'll be ordering from you!

Yea the whole engine will assembled with ARP bolts all pistons wiseco and forged the crank will be lunati as well as the rods. All forged.
