Video of the CMS 1LE on Willow Springs Raceway

Yesterday we hit up willow springs in our shop 1LE camaro to play with some of our Corvette customers. One of my good customers setup camaras on the 1LE and his c6 (front and back view's on both cars). Very fun, and surprised i could keep up considering he makes 510+ RWHP and was on hoosier a6's (1LE on toyo R888's). It was scorching hot out there (102+ F) but I still managed to turn a 1:34.4 best lap time for the day, not bad considering it was my first time on Big Willow with the 1LE...
Mods on the 1LE are:
CMS custom cam package, ARH headers, Airaid intake, Pfadt zl1 spec bars, Pfadt solid cradle bushings, Pfadt Lowering springs, and Toyo R888's (285-35-20, 315-30-20)

here is the vid:

Great video, like the four panel breakdown. That looks like a lot of fun definitely on my list.

Would streets of willow be a good track to get your feet wet with road racing?

Memorial day was at Willow"s go-cart track with a buddy; motorcycles were on the big track watched them a bit and they were flying.

streets of willow is a much more technical course....i got a work out throwing my camaro around it. it is smaller and slower little japanese cars do well on streets

big willow is were that vid was taken and aside from 2 corners it is very new driver friendly.

can always try chuckwalla this saturday with us

Damn you Ryne! Now I got to get this thing out there to play. I got the green light from the wife on new track tires so hopefully soon I can get out there and run with the big boys. Need to get the posi fixed first.

That looks so fun! Do you offer suspension tuning at your shop? I'd like to have my car corner balanced.

As of right now no, we generally install all necessary items then have another shop corner balance the car.... I have thought about getting scales and starting, but frankly there isn't much of a demand
