Hello all,

I'm sorry to hear of the p code concerns as it sounds like a GM dealership's involvement might be necessary to diagnose what's going on. Feel free to private message me (name, VIN, mileage) so I can look into these matters further. I'll be happy to do that for you.

This just happened to me today while sitting in traffic driving home from work. My car is cammed and also has a 3600 stall. My first thought was that something is wrong with the converter but I feel relieved knowing that others had this issue with stock transmissions. My car has 11K miles and I drive it about once or twice a week.

I am wondering if the sensors being talked about in this thread fixed the problem long term and if anyone knows what might have caused them to fail in the first place. Any help is appreciated.

sorry, havent been back in this thread in a long time...I haven't had any problems again at all with the transmission after 10,000 miles after the dealer replaced the speed sensor...I just traded in though for a rubicon a few weeks ago
