I Installed mine but not the part that goes on the shifter handle.

I installed the kit yesterday, and now I'm hearing like a grinding noise when I'm in 2nd and a bit when I'm in third. It sounds worse when I leave my hand on the shifter. Any ideas what it could be?

Yes... but it was like that before I installed the Hurst shifter.

I installed mine without but I also did the bushing upgrade from NH-SS. No rattles, no noise for a year now.
