Get the German side mirrors from GM. They are a little bit bigger with no blind spots

Turn your head and look out the little port window before making lane changes?

I didn't watch that vid but what everyone says is about right. When I first got the car I got up on the interstate highway in the middle of three lanes doing 55 mph (ticking people off) and let people pass me on either side while adjusted my mirrors out until I didn't have a blind spot. Mirrors are higher and wider than I've ever kept them before. I'm used to it now.

In Camaro we almost sit near the rear tyre...IMO there is no blind spot for these cars. Look at your shoulder and you will almost see the rear end.

Just in my opinion. Anyways you can use walmart attachment to see how it goes with you

My F-150 has them as well. I think Ford is putting these on all of their new cars??? I wish the Camaro had something similar.

This is what they look like on my F-150.

What if you are parallel parking? Don't you have to see the side of your car then? I do :P

I have mine adjusted to the point I do not see my car in the mirrors at all. I was worried at first since I had heard the cars is a rolling blind spot, now I think that people need to learn how to adjust their mirrors. I was taught that wider is better. All my cars have always been adjusted this way.

Why do people need to see their own car in their side mirrors? You should know where your car is.

See if you can get your hands on some of the Oracle concept mirrors for the camaro. They are skinnier than the OEM mirrors, but they look better IMO and use a convex mirror to show more of your surroundings.

Took a driving course and they explained how to use the stock mirrors to remove blind spots.

A new way is to move the side mirrors out much more where you can't see the side of the car. Basically get rid of the overlap between the center and side mirrors.

It's great once you get used to it and I can't go back the "old" way. No blind spot problems. This is REALLY necessary for these cars and their 6 foot wide c-pillars.

You just lean over a little bit towards the center and you can see your car again if you need it.

agreed. Until the Camaro I always had them set with the car in view. Now that they are properly adjusted I can look over and know that there isn't anything hiding and make my lane change.

It took me a few days to have the confidence to trust that I truly have to blind spot but once you do it's perfect.
Easy.
