Are your silicon'ing on the stick pad area?

Or just coating over and securing the whole pad once its stuck on with it own pad?

I believe he's putting silicon on the sticky-pad area. But I could be wrong.

If that's the case, you can buy them without the adhesive pad and save a few cents.
